Evaluating Apps - a rubric for evaluation

Although there are estimated to be millions of apps available for mobile devices, are any of these any use in educational contexts? This is a question teachers often ask when they are trying to locate apps to use in their classrooms. The MTTEP project has created a rubric (set of criteria) that will enable teachers to search for apps using a set of pedagogical criteria which are specific to mobile learning. This is the iPAC framework which identifies Personalisation, Authenticity and Collaboration as three distinctive features of mobile learning
